One of the world’s largest suppliers of polyester film is expanding its existing operations in Greer.
Mitsubishi Polyester Film recently announced it is investing $100 million in the expansion of its Greer facility.
Draexlmaier will invest $35 million through 2016 for upgrades to its Duncan facility.
The investment will include the addition of a 184,000-squar-foot production and logistics building, as well as upgrades to the plant infrastructure and equipment. The expansion alone is expected to create 94 new jobs.
