Several area small businesses were recognized by the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce at an awards ceremony at Greer City Hall last Thursday.
Southern Eye Associates was named the chamber’s Small Business of the Year and Smith and James was presented with the Mayor’s award for its long-standing service.

Tom Faulkner was installed as district governor of Rotary District 7750 on Thursday, June 19 at an awards and installation banquet held at the Cannon Centre in Greer.
Rotary District 7750 includes 54 clubs located in the western half of South Carolina.
BMW Manufacturing recently announced J.D. Power, a source for evaluating customer satisfaction regarding new vehicle quality, awarded the Greer factory the Bronze Plant Quality Award in the North/South America region.
