Bad week for Haley
After all the press “hoopla” about the “coveted endorsement” of South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, the results are in. With the not-so-covert assistance of the RNC, the state Republican chairman, in addition to Tim Scott, Trey Gowdy, and assorted Republican “muckety-mucks,” including the well-wishes of her friends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, Nikki, could muster barely 22 percent of the voters for her candidate to “stop Trump.”
More bad news, upwards of two thirds of the voters polled on Saturday, Feb. 20 said they supported flying the Confederate flag at the SC Statehouse.
And this, after her herculean efforts to persuade us that the flag is divisive “and that Donald Trump is divisive.”
It was a bad week for Nikki Haley and the “politically correct establishment” in South Carolina.
