I finish off the last of the coffee, and throw a few things into a backpack and head to the woods. For the past few weeks, I have spent as much time as possible in a tree stand, but this morning I go, wielding a homemade walking stick and a small camera.

Many holiday traditions begin with family and friends gathered in the kitchen or around the dinner table. Food is an integral part of celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas and Chanukah, and key components of each holiday are tied exclusively to food.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) has released tips to celebrate Halloween safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Some of those tips include:

-Not using a costume mask in place of a cloth mask

-Keeping masks on at all times

-Skipping houses that don’t have precautions in place

By attempting to undermine the integrity of our election, and calling for an “army of poll watchers,” Donald Trump is setting the stage for voter confrontation and intimidation.

He is encouraging the potential for violence before, during, and after the election.

Q: I recently received my master’s degree in finance, and for the last four years I’ve had a job as a social worker. I love my job and have a decent income, but I know I could make more money and come closer to reaching my full potential in the finance industry. I’m on Baby Step 2, and I have lots of debt.
