Q: Why do I keep seeing golf carts in downtown Greer?
A: Haven’t you heard? The city is building a golf course! That’s what all this construction is!
Kidding, guys. Only kidding.
The vehicles you’re seeing are more sophisticated than your run-of-the-mill golf carts.
Got a question you’ve been dying to ask?
Now is the time to get your answer.
We’re bringing the mailbag back! Over the past year, we’ve taken a deep dive into the Greer Citizen’s history, but now we’re giving this column back to you, the reader.
So, send us questions. We want to hear from you. Ask anything. We’ll do our best to find an answer.
We’ll get this mailbag going with a question of our own:

Q: My mom is 75, and I’m the executor of her estate. She has $500,000 in retirement accounts, and the only debt she has is around $70,000 on her mortgage. Most of her money is in the stock market, with only $20,000 in a money market account, and this worries me. She lives well within her means, so am I wrong to be concerned?
