What happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6 was unacceptable. Many on the right have said as much. Political violence has no place in our free country, and it should be punished severely. Those who rioted, destroyed property and caused the death of others in the halls of congress should go to jail. And that’s exactly what’s happening.
