Weather make-up days in effect this week

Junior League writing contest taking entries
The Junior League of Greenville (JLG) is now accepting entries for its seventh annual Young Women’s Writing Contest. The contest is open to all female students in Greenville County public, private and home school programs in grades 6 through 12.

National College Fair set for March 16
The Upstate South Carolina National College Fair will be held on Saturday, March 16, from 1-4 p.m. at Furman University’s Timmons Arena. The college fair is hosted by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) and is the only fair offered in South Carolina.
Students at Eastside High School earned service hours last week by creating an African American Quotes Mural.
Before and after school, students gathered to paint water colors on large sheets of paper, followed by transcribing quotes from famous African Americans.
