Three area sisters share more than physical traits and a name. Each of them has the distinction of serving as a Blue Ridge High Corps of Cadets drum major.
The unique lineage began with oldest sister, Shelby (Good) McMakin, who served as one of three drum majors the year that the band won its eighth SCBDA State Championship.
