Policemen, firemen, athletes, businessmen, fathers and grandfathers stopped by Chandler Creek Elementary on Tuesday to read to students, promote literacy and share about their professions.

Assistant principal Jennifer Dodds said the program, called Real Men Read, illustrates that reading is important and enjoyable.
