During Spirit Week, Eastside High students raised $116,550 for Washington Center to fund the building of a therapeutic nature trail. The nature trail will be ADA compliant allowing students with disabilities to enjoy recreation and instruction in an on-site wooded area with walkways and specialized plantings. With completion expected by the beginning of the 2017-18 school year, the trail will be shared by students from Sara Collins Elementary and Washington Center schools.
