More than 120 runners signed up for the first ever Sandy Flat Hard Rock Quarry Run.

Quarry run raises $10,000

The first ever Hard Rock 5K Run at Sandy Flat Quarry, hosted by Hanson Aggregates, drew 124 runners to the work site on June 15.

The benefit race raised $10,969 for Greenville Humane Society.

The Humane Society will use the money for sick and injured animals in their Healing Place.
