Constructed in 1923, The Louie James House is one of Greer’s most prominent examples of early twentieth century Colonial Revival residential architecture.

Named for William Louis “Louie” James, a prominent Greer farmer, merchant and businessman, the structure has only had two owners in nearly a century.
