The upcoming Rock Out Hunger benefit concert on Saturday, September 10, will feature local talent at the Radio Room and will help to support Loaves & Fishes.

Area recipients of the Quilts of Valor were honored at Greer First Baptist last Tuesday.

William Andrew “Andy” Burleigh of Greer received one of 11 quilts gifted to veterans during last Tuesday’s Quilt of Honor event at Greer First Baptist Church.

Marijke Baker Alford made Burleigh’s quilt along with one for her husband Lodwick Kirkland Alford and her son-in-law Todd Flippin.
