Marching Warriors aim to impress

The Riverside marching band is hoping to “wow” spectators this fall with its energetic new sound and disciplined choreography.

Band Director Quintus Wrighten, who is heading into is second season at Riverside, said this year’s production is going to be like nothing he’s done before.

BR bands welcome new directors

Although the school year hasn’t yet begun, local area marching bands have already taken to the field to learn new routines. However, in addition to new choreography and music, Blue Ridge High School and Blue Ridge Middle School will be welcoming new band directors.
