Greer Community Ministries (GCM) recently received a $1,500 grant from Meals on Wheels America to support its client pet food program.

Creative Advancement Center (CAC) students displayed their talents for local leaders at the organization’s ninth annual awards luncheon last week.
Daniel Dudley, President of CAC, welcomed supporters while students shared letters, songs, skits and dances with those in attendance.
Doug Mize has been named Greer First Baptist’s senior pastor after serving the church for more than a year in the interim.
Mize took over for Dr. Rick Ezell in April of 2016 and was unanimously approved by the Greer First congregation on June. 4.
