Greer resident dies in motorcycle wreck

A Greer man was killed after he struck an SUV while driving a motorcycle in the city Monday morning.

DeShawn F. Callahan, 24, of 416 East Fairview Avenue, Greer, was identified as the deceased by the Spartanburg County Coroner's Office. Callahan sustained severe injuries due to the collision, which he eventually succumbed to at Greenville Memorial Hospital Monday night.
