Every day news comes of a family member, friend, associate or acquaintance that has lost their job for a myriad of economic reasons.
We at The Greer Citizen believe it is our mission to tell the stories of its citizens who are out of work and trying to make ends meet by almost any means possible. As often as the stories are heartbreaking they are also heartwarming.
Families, neighbors, churches and civic clubs harbor support groups that are guiding lights in many people that have had their lives become disheved.
We invite our readers to join us in telling good stories about good people who happened to get caught between the crosshairs of collapsing businesses through no fault of their own.
If you know a story we can share please let us know. When you're reading the stories, revisit your resources to see if you can help either put people to work or reference them to leads.
Our goal serves one purpose: to use the power of the press to offer our resources to help put our neighbors back to work.
