Jack G. Witthuhn (Veteran) Sept. 1, 1931 – July 14, 2010 Jack George Witthuhn, 78, of 134 Bennetts Bridge Road, died July 14, 2010 at his home.
A native of Callaway, Neb., son of the late William George and Minnie Brummett Witthuhn, he retired from the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Postal Service and was a member of Burnsview Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Leonard Witthuhn of the home; a daughter, Debbie Witthuhn of Greer; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Brenda Witthuhn of Greer; a brother, Elmo Witthuhn of Callaway; four grandchildren, Joshua, Deanna, Jonathan, and Austin Philip Witthuhn; and two great-grandchildren, Heidi and Gabriel Witthuhn.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Burnsview Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Tim Huckaby and Rev. Ray Hatcher. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens with full military honors.
Visitation will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
