Katherine L. Grubbs June 21, 1920 – July 20, 2010 Katherine Leonard Grubbs, 90, of 114 Brown Street, Greer, widow of Jessie B. Grubbs, went to be with the Lord peacefully on July 26, 2010 at Autumn Care.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Isom and Margaret Hendricks Leonard, she was a homemaker and a charter member of Southside Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Robert Jones and Marilyn and Richard Leoffels, all of Greer; a son, Dennis Grubbs of Greer; a brother, James Leonard of Greer; two sisters, Nannie Leonard and Connie Waddell, both of Greer; and four grandchildren, Debra Haynes, Angie Bruce, Zach Leoffels, and Chelsea Leoffels.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
