‘Beautiful event’ raises $500,000 Saturday

Officials estimate nearly 4,000 people took to the streets for the Heart Walk last Saturday in Greer, raising an estimated $500,000 for the cause. The walk was the fourth held in the city, and the number of participants and amount raised were equivalent to the results of the 2013 walk.
