‘Freak’ accident kills two from WYFF

Two local journalists died Monday after a tree fell on their SUV in Polk County, North Carolina.
According to officials, WYFF News 4 Anchor Mike McCormick and WYFF photojournalist Aaron Smeltzer were traveling on Highway 176 when a tree struck the vehicle from the side of the road.
