City should not have been named in suit

Officials say the City of Greer should not have been named in a June lawsuit that brought allegations against the Greer Commission of Public Works (CPW) and other Upstate municipalities.

The civil suit, which was filed in Newberry County, named both Greer CPW and the city, along with the City of Rock Hill, Clinton and Union.
