Wayne George (center), executive director of the Municipal Association of South Carolina, visited Greer City Council last Tuesday evening to acknowledge council members’ professional development. Greer is among eight South Carolina municipalities in which all members of Council are graduates of the Municipal Elected Officials Institute.
