Emma’s Law passes State House

The South Carolina State House voted 112-0 to pass “Emma’s Law” on Thursday April 3, hoping to crack down on DUI cases.

Named after 6-year-old Emma Longstreet, who was killed by a drunk driver on January 1, 2012, The bill will now move to the Senate, as there have been some changes made by the House.
