Foundation gives $100,000 toward homeless shelter

Daily Bread Ministries took another step toward opening a homeless shelter last week, receiving a $100,000 donation from the John I. Smith Foundation.
The shelter is estimated to cost $475,000 and the John I. Smith Foundation’s donation puts the goal within $150,000 of being accomplished.
