South Carolina drivers can expect to pay more at the pump, as a 12-cent-per-gallon gas tax increase was approved by lawmakers last Friday.
The increase, which will amount to a hike of 2 cents per year for six years, is designed to pay repair bills on the state’s deteriorating roads.
