For one local family, finding the balance between staying active and dealing with a rare bleeding disorder has been difficult.

“When you get a diagnosis that you have a child that has a rare disease, it’s devastating,” said Greer’s Sue Martin. “There is no cure. It’s very expensive. It can be life threatening.”
