Growth creates local challenge

What a difference a decade makes.
In 2010, housing starts in Greer totaled 62. Last year, the city handled 744, marking a period of significant growth.
“Growth is a challenge for us,” City Administrator Ed Driggers told Greer City Council last week. “It’s also an opportunity for us.”
