Last summer, I watched a lesser-known movie called “A Late Quartet.”  It’s about a group of classical musicians who played together many years before egos and personality conflicts got in the way.  It isn’t a particularly great film, and wouldn’t even be that memorable if not for Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s performance.
