Homeless shelter breaks ground

Daily Bread Ministries broke ground on a new homeless shelter, occupying 509-511 E. Poinsett St. in Greer, on Wednesday at noon.
About $185,000 has already been raised for the Greer Shelter to Empower People (STEP) facility and construction will commence once the project is fully funded.
