A short walk across downtown Greer this Sunday will help the Greer Soup Kitchen offer services for needy families for another year.

Set to begin Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church, the 13th annual Merle State Hunger Walk is the organization’s only fundraiser.
