Greer native Tim Wells led an active life into his 40s before a diagnosis took him by surprise.

“There were really no other symptoms or signs that I had a kidney problem–maybe occasional back pain,” Wells said. “I was forty-three, in good shape, and still playing pick-up and church basketball.”
