Lyman to hold special election

The Town of Lyman will open filing on Friday for candidates wishing to run for mayor.
The vacancy came after the recent passing of mayor Tony G. Gillespie, who had served since July of 2016.
Filing for the seat opens at noon on Friday, April 14 and closes at noon on Monday, April 24.
