Man wanted for attempted murder

The Greer Police Department has signed warrants on two individuals for the attempted murder that occurred at Oakland Place Apartments on February 22. The first subject, Adonis Kashaun Kennedy, 19, has been picked up by Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated charge. Police say he will be charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The department is requesting assistance in locating Dezmund Trevon Cohen, 21. He is wanted for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Greer police say the crime occurred at the apartment complex when a victim was shot in the head. A resident of the complex transported the victim to Greer Memorial Hospital. He was expected to be okay following the shooting.
