Duncan’s new Police Chief Carl Long received a standing applause from a packed room after being sworn at the Duncan Town Council meeting on Monday night. Long, who has served on in Duncan since 2005, was promoted from caption to police chief following former Police Chief Ryan Cothran’s resignation to take a position with District 5 schools.
