Responders participate in mock line strike

Utility operators, contractors and emergency responders took part in a pipeline safety demonstration event Tuesday afternoon.
The mock line strike, hosted by South Carolina 811, Greer CPW and Enertech LLC, simulated a natural gas line being hit, educating first responders on how to manage the situation and prevent it from occurring.
