On May 16, 2003, when police arrived at the former Blue Ridge Savings Bank in Greer in response to a robbery, they discovered the bodies of Sylvia Holtzclaw, James Barnes and Margaret Barnes, all of whom were shot to death.
This case remains an unsolved triple-homicide and bank robbery.
