Jumper died during a traffic stop along Interstate-85 in October of 2020 following an altercation with a suspect.

Commissioners denied the rezoning of two Henderson Gap Road properties for the development of a new town home community.
Concerns were raised about the proposed project, which is being planned at 1360 and 1490 Henderson Gap Road. The 4-3 vote was to deny the rezoning of the properties from R-15 to Design Review District.
Developers will now be required to contribute 50 percent of all costs associated with the construction of an electrical distribution system for a new residential development, following a Greer CPW decision.
