The City of Greer put the finishing touches on an 18-month downtown streetscape project on Tuesday.
“We needed to create a place. That’s what Greer Station is today. We built the streetscape as a destination,” said City Administrator Ed Driggers.
The improvements to downtown Greer are not over just yet.
Keith Eades, owner and managing partner of Idea River Development, announced plans to construct a mixed-use development in downtown Greer. The project, which amounts to a $32 million investment, will bring more than 200 residential units, a standalone brewery and a restaurant.
