The City of Greer put the finishing touches on an 18-month downtown streetscape project on Tuesday.

“We needed to create a place. That’s what Greer Station is today. We built the streetscape as a destination,” said City Administrator Ed Driggers.

COVID-19 spike continues in SC

South Carolina is nearing 1,000 COVID-19 deaths.

The state’s Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) confirmed 2,205 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, along with 23 additional deaths.

One of those deaths was a middle-aged individual from Greenville County.

Duncan approves zoning

Exeter Pigeon Haven Land, LLC has purchased around 30 acres, located at 1983 and 105 Pigeon Haven Road in Duncan.

Duncan Town Council approved the annexation of the property into town limits last week, passing a second and final reading of the ordinance with a zoning of General Industrial District.
