SRHS allows one support person

Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (SRHS) has rolled back part of its temporary visitation restrictions.

The health system is now allowing one support person for each patient undergoing an outpatient procedure that requires anesthesia or moderate-to-deep sedation.

Local nursing graduates were given gift cards that will pay the registration fee for their licensure exam.

Anonymous donors pay fee

Two anonymous donors are helping dozens of nursing graduates get certified.

The donors worked with the Greenville Tech Foundations to provide a $200 registration fee for 35 recent nursing graduates, allowing them to take the NCLEX exam. In total, the gift equaled $7,000.

SCDEW starts Recall Taskforce

“Welcome back to work, South Carolina.”

That was the opening line of a letter sent to South Carolina business owners last week.

The letter was sent from the Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW), which recently introduced its Recall Taskforce to aid in the reopening of South Carolina businesses.
