After months of searching, the Greer Commission of Public Works has found a successor for Nick Stegall, the former general manager who retired in September.

Jeff Tuttle, most recently the vice president of gas utilities services principal for G2 Partners, begins his new position as the CPW’s general manager March 3.

Marriott hosts fundraiser

In December of 2012, Six & Twenty distillery, a locally inspired name used to produce whiskey from local products, was opened by Greer native Robert Redmond and David Raad.

The Six & Twenty name is derived from a local legend, according to Redmond.
