MLK Luncheon set for Jan. 20

The City of Greer will hold its annual MLK Luncheon on Jan. 20 at Greer City Hall.

The catered lunch will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the program will begin at 11:30 a.m. with entertainment by Mark Cleveland and Sonya Austin Dunbar.

A collaborative effort between several local businesses and organizations made a dream come true for Charles and Julie Merritt, who moved into their new Greer home earlier this month.

“It’s so beautiful,” said Julie Merritt, following the family’s first look at their new home.
