Leland Burch will hold a public book signing for his first compilation “Greer, SC - The Center of the Universe” on Friday from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at McLeskey-Todd Pharmacy of Greer, 109 N. Main St.

Five Zaxby’s restaurants, including a Duncan location, hosted two Make-A-Wish children for the 2013 Zaxby’s Limo Tour.
The Make-A-Wish program grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Gatherings on Main, at 506 North Main St. in Greer, will host a Ribbon Cutting on Friday. The ceremony will begin at 11 am.
Gatherings on Main is a café and antique store opened in fall of 2013 as a place for friends and family to “meet, eat and shop.”
