Twelve-year-old Owen Kinnunen got some unexpected help when he lost his wallet last week.

After a long search for the missing billfold, Owen’s mother Jill called the Greer Police Department to see if a missing wallet had been turned in, thinking it had been lost during a recent shopping trip.

Inland Port receives $25M grant

The Greer Inland Port recently received a $25 million grant for its planned expansion.

The Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant will also support the extension of Norfolk Southern’s Carlisle Passing Siding, according to the United States Department of Transportation.
