County seeking Taylors input

Taylors TownSquare is seeking community input on its proposed Main Street Development District, which would encompass more than 220 area parcels.

The Taylors Community Plan, adopted by Greenville County Council in 2016, prioritized the establishment of the district, according to Taylors TownSquare president Alex Reynolds.

Police to hold free TIP event

Local law enforcement officers are hoping to crack down on property thefts through an identification program set for this weekend.

The Trailer Identification Project (TIP) is asking residents to put identifying markers on their trailers to aid law enforcement in the event the property is stolen.

Greer CPW held a golf tournament Sunday, Sept. 23, at the Village Greens Golf Club in Inman to benefit United Way of Greenville County. The tournament brought in nine teams and raised $1,550. Since 2011, Greer CPW has donated more than $140,000 to United Way of Greenville County. The first place winning team took home $200 cash and (4) 32 oz.
