Albino Skunk Music Festival coming Oct 4-6
The Albino Skunk Music Festival is coming Oct. 4-6, from 8 a.m. on Thursday to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday at 4063 Jordan Rd, Greer.

Taylors TownSquare is seeking community input on its proposed Main Street Development District, which would encompass more than 220 area parcels.
The Taylors Community Plan, adopted by Greenville County Council in 2016, prioritized the establishment of the district, according to Taylors TownSquare president Alex Reynolds.

Greer CPW held a golf tournament Sunday, Sept. 23, at the Village Greens Golf Club in Inman to benefit United Way of Greenville County. The tournament brought in nine teams and raised $1,550. Since 2011, Greer CPW has donated more than $140,000 to United Way of Greenville County. The first place winning team took home $200 cash and (4) 32 oz.
Food Truck Frenzy returns to Middle Tyger
Potential Church is hosting its second Middle Tyger Food Truck Frenzy on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. following a successful run the first time.
There will be live music, local craftsmen and a kids’ zone at 311 Old Spartanburg Highway, Wellford.
The Town of Lyman will hold its fourth annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, Oct. 2.
The event, which switched from August to October last year, will take place at the town’s amphitheater near the new playground from 6-9 p.m.
Lyman Town Council gave its final approval to new land development regulations last Monday night.
Councilmember Tony Wyatt noted a few changes to the regulations prior to approval, which include who pays for inspections.
