Palmetto Prim celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Friday, Jan. 12 on Groce Road in Lyman.

According to authorities, a 15-year-old male was charged with involuntary manslaughter after firing the shot that killed Rivera from a gun he believed was not loaded.
