Foothills Chamber Series final concert set for Saturday
The Foothills Orchestra will hold its final Chamber Series Concert of the season on Saturday, April 13, 7 p.m., at the City of Greer Center for the Arts.
In the “Player’s Choice” concert, groups of musicians and soloists will select what they find fun to play and share it with the audience.
Little Me working toward reading goal
A Greer preschool is close to completing their reading goal of 500 books by May, as 3K teacher Courtney Evans emphasizes the importance of literacy this school year.
Located along Wicker Park Ave., the Little Me Academy 3K class of 24 participating students has read 430 books so far this school year.
GHS student receives honor
Shawn Duckett, of Greer High, has been selected to become a member of The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
The society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment.
NGU to host dedication
April 12 will mark the start of a new chapter at North Greenville University (NGU).
A dedication celebration is set for the university’s fully renovated Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Center, formerly Donnan Administration Building. The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. on NGU’s campus in Tigerville.
