He was the son of the late Willie “Junior” Steadman and Marie Payne Smith and the loving husband of Julie Ann Pearson Steadman for forty-two years. He was employed with Pilcher Hamilton and was formerly employed with Ashworth Brothers for thirty-six years.

Phillip Hiram Laughter, 62, of 484 Cinnamon Ridge Drive, Inman, SC, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at his home. Phillip was born in Spartanburg, SC on November 29, 1954, a son of the late H.P. and Ella Beatrice (Williams) Laughter. He was the widower of Lisa (Sloan) Laughter.
