Betty Lane Hudson

Betty Lane Hudson, 83, of Duncan, passed away on July 1, 2019.

A native of Tucapau, daughter of the late Gary James and Sue McQueen Lane, she was a retired school teacher from Spartanburg and Greenville County Schools, and a member of Tyger River Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are one son, Wallace Hudson of the home; a special daughter, Cindy Bomar Miller; a special friend, Manson Tucker; and two special grandchildren, Charlie and Savanna Miller.

Mrs. Hudson was predeceased by her first husband, Harry W. Hudson; one daughter, Sue Lane Hudson; one son, John Carter Hudson; and one brother, John Michael Lane.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Hudson Neeley and Dr. Rodney Powell. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary.

The family was at the home of Linda Merrell immediately following the service.
