Betty Jean Workman Walls, 85, widow of Ruben Lawrence “Larry” Walls, passed away May 23, 2018.
A native of Battle Creek, Michigan, daughter of the late James and Willard Jernigan Workman, she was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church.
Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Randy Joines, of N. Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Vince Gainey. Burial followed in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation was held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Monday at The Wood Mortuary.
